Sempervivum tectorum 'Red Beauty' (Hen and Chicks)

May 2008Let's hope these stay this color. Their first summer, they were a pale, washed out tan color. Soooo not the wine color I thought I was getting. During their first winter, though, they turned this color, and have yet to fade back to the ugly color. We'll see what happens this summer.

Planted 6 in Spring 2007 and 3 in Sping 2008 (plus a few babies that have been transplanted). Location: Between the Hawthorn and Maple, and near 'Oshio Beni'.
