I love this lily! It's stunning. Even better, my mom told me that her mom gave her some of this variety of lily years ago. Since I got mine from my mom, it's now a special little flower to me. Hopefully someday I can give some to my daughter. Oh wait, I don't have one. Daughter-in-law it is, then. :o)

My California Poppies are mixed colors. I didn't actually know they came in colors other than orange, but that's what the seed packet said, and here they are! So far I've seen cream, several shades of orange, red-ish, and pink (which is also ruffley!).

Planted 1 seed packet in Spring 2007. Location: Next to the cherry tree. Began blooming May 17, 2008.
