Wow, this tulip is so beautiful. It is definitely my favorite of all of those that I have in my yard. It's a chameleon tulip--as it ages, it turns less yellow and more red. All of these pictures are from my garden (April 2008), and I've tried to put them more or less in order of how their color changes. Oh, one more great thing: they positively glow in the sunlight. I wish I'd put them in the front yard for everyone to see! Planted 30 in Fall 2007. Location: North bed, between cherry and Hawthorn. Also near 'Oshio Beni' Maple in East beds.
