March 2008 I'm not sure that this really is 'Minerva' after all, as it doesn't look like I was expecting! 'Minerva' is supposed to also have white and green . . . but this is beautiful, too! It had 4 blooms this year.

These are a little odd. They are quite contorted, and as of yet, I haven't seen one that looks too tulip-ey.

This tree also came from the Arbor Day Foundation, and again, it wasn't supposed to, so I had to have some help identifying it. It's doing great!

Lagerstroemia (Crepe Myrtle)

This little tree came with our Arbor Day package, and it certainly wasn't supposed to! I had to go to an online gardening site to get some help identifying it. Regardelss, it's growing fabulously in Chris's Bonsai Garden. Let's just hope it survives the winter!

Chris planted this Cotaneaster at my parent's house a few years ago when we were on a vacation. Once we moved here, he transferred it over to his Bonsai Garden. It's growing well (a little too well) now.
