Helianthus annuus 'Mammoth' (Russian Mammoth Sunflower)
Here's some of our sunflowers from this season. After the flower petals fade, the face of the plant kind of starts to roll up. Maybe because of the weight of the seeds? We harvested about a half a dozen flower heads this weekend, and got about 1.5 lunch bags (the brown paper kind from school days) full of seeds. Yum!
