Lilium 'Enchantment' (Asiatic Lily)

Planted 4 in April 2008. Location: Just north of master bedroom windows.

I love this lily! It's stunning. Even better, my mom told me that her mom gave her some of this variety of lily years ago. Since I got mine from my mom, it's now a special little flower to me. Hopefully someday I can give some to my daughter. Oh wait, I don't have one. Daughter-in-law it is, then. :o)

Somehow I don't know what the cultivar of this lily is. I'm going to have to look that up . . .

Planted 6 or so in 2008. Location: Just west of the backyard cherry.

Oenothera (Evening Primrose)

Planted 1 in April 2008. Location: Just west of Acer palmatum 'Oshio Beni'. These have gone nuts in the one year they've been in.

Knautia macedonica (Red Pincusion Flower)

Planted 2 in Spring 2007. Location: Under the weeping cherry and near the big maple. I've also transplanted a few babies as of Spring 2009.

This flower blooms all season long - from April to frost!
